The NECA Legislative Conference was held May 16 - 17, 2018 in Washington, D.C.  Those that attended were able to visit members of Congress to voice industry issues important to electrical contractors. The NECA Legislative Conference started off with legislative updates and a “How To” in regard to coordinating visits with the elected officials.  Industry concerns were discussed with either the representative(s) or his/her congressional aide(s).  The issues concerned the following:  infrastructure investment, repeal of the “Cadillac Tax,” and new pension plans, among other subcontractor-related / small business issues.
