Chris Nybo is a former Illinois State Senator and Representative who now runs his own government relations firm. His clients include trade associations, companies, non-profits, and local governments, and he has significant public and private sector experience across a wide variety of industries, including financial services, energy, real estate, technology, health care, gaming, and recycling. His knowledge of and experience with political, legislative and regulatory processes makes him adept at crafting, developing and influencing legislation and public policy. Chris earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College (summa cum laude) in Government and Public Policy and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. In 1998, he was named a Harry S. Truman Scholar. In addition to his legislative experience, Chris has practiced law for over twenty years, starting with a clerkship for the Honorable James Zagel on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois followed by private practice at Chicago-based law firms.
