ECA Membership Meeting Highlights - November 12, 2025

The Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago's (ECA's) November Membership Meeting was held on Wednesday, November 15, 2025 at Gibsons Steakhouse in Oak Brook, IL.  This breakfast session had nearly 50 in attendance. 

The program featured ECA Committee updates, as well as discussion on local / state-wide / national electrical contracting issues that affect not only the contractor members, but the industry, as well.  Liaisons with the Electrical Joint Apprenticeship & Training Trust (EJATT) and the Labor Management Cooperation Committee (LMCC) of Chicago were also on hand with area updates.

A highlight of the program was the unanimous acceptance of Meany Inc. into the membership!  Nick Dominy, Vice President, Meany Inc., was at the meeting. 

Another highlight of the session included a presentation by Shane Yount, President and CEO of Competitive Solutions, Inc. (CSI).  Shane Yount is a leading expert in business transformation, executive coaching, and leadership development with nearly three decades of experience.  As the President and CEO of Competitive Solutions, Inc. (CSI), Shane has pioneered innovative approaches to organizational effectiveness and process-based leadership.  He presented, “Beyond IQ and EQ – Discovering the Superpower of PQ (Process Intelligence) in High Functioning Leaders.”  We thank Shane for his informative presentation!
