The electrical construction industry is a lot like the weather in Chicago ... if you don't like it just wait 24 hours ... and it will change. And then it can also hit you with a hearty cold snap or heat wave that can last extended periods of time. In either case, the person who acknowledges that these are the possibilities of weather conditions for the area that we live in, and then takes steps to prepare, will most likely be the one who has the greatest level of enjoyment and success.
Without a doubt these are very difficult times. All economic indicators suggest that recovery is a year away, maybe more. This is not a time to be cavalier, it is not a time to run, nor is it a time to be on your own. More than ever now is a time for all contractors to work together. Using our resources through the Electrical Contractors' Association is one way we can help each other through this very difficult time. Just like preparing for unknown weather conditions, electrical contractors should take all appropriate steps to prepare for unknown business conditions.
The Electrical Contractors' Association is here to help. For every decision that you make to run your company efficiently and effectively, the Electrical Contractors' Association can provide information, education, networking opportunities, and timely material that can help you make the "right" decision at the "right" time. If you are a union electrical contractor we encourage you to consider membership in the Electrical Contractors' Association.
We invite customers to "find" a contractor by searching the list of the best and most qualified electrical contractors in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Simply select the "Find A Contractor" link on this page. You can search by company name, area, or job type. We know that you will be pleased with the result.
Thank you for visiting the Electrical Contractors' Association website. Please come back often and let us know how we can better serve your needs.
Sincerely,
James Gallagher
President
