The Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago (ECA) Safety Committee along with the Northeastern Illinois Chapter, NECA is proud to sponsor a special program, "Mandatory Updates for OSHA Recordkeeping," as follows:

Mandatory Updates for OSHA Recordkeeping is a FREE session open only to all ECA members.  The program topics of discussion, include the following:

·     Definition of a Recordable Injury or Illness

·     Maintaining and Posting 301 and 300 and 300A Records

.     Mandatory Electronic Submissions  

·     Difference Between First Aid and Medical Treatment

·     Severe Injury Reporting

.     Accounting for Days Away from Work and Work Restrictions

The target audience for this program is Electrical Safety Personnel - especially those responsible for completing and submitting OSHA Injury Reports.

From 2005 until 2012, John also was the OSHA Region V Assistant Regional Administrator for Cooperative and State Programs, when he managed the Region’s training programs, Susan Harwood Training Grant Program, state plans and consultation grants, and voluntary protection programs. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in fire protection and safety engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree in industrial management from Northern Illinois University. As a former OSHA employee, he has extraordinary insights to the agency’s recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
