MEP -

This was a very successful MEP event for the many Young Professionals of the industry.

The Electrical Contractors' Association of City of Chicago (ECA) was a co-organizer along with the Mechanical Contractors Association, Plumbing Contractors Association, Sheet Metal Contractors Association, Northeastern Illinois Chapter, NECA, Underground Contractors Association and the Chicagoland AGC for the "MEP Survivor" event that was geared for the young professionals of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing-related (MEP) trades on July 25, 2019 at Bemis Woods in Western Springs, Illinois.  Over 80 participants competed in six different competition stations.   The MEP emerging leaders were placed onto teams and each were put through a series of fun and challenging tasks that ranged from silly to intense.  The event offered time for networking, the sampling of a number of food trucks and a raffle.  This was the third industry event organized by the groups.  We thank the Construction Safety Council for their assistance with heath and safety during the event.  Also, the event could not have come to fruition if were it not for the generosity of the many sponsors, including: ABB, BuildingPoint Midwest – Northern Illinois, Ferguson Enterprises, Midwest Applied Solutions, Milwaukee Tool, Porter Pipe & Supply Company, Cleats Manufacturing co., Inc., Bulldog Cartage, Graybar, Chitkowski Law Offices, Colony Hardware, Milwaukee Valve Company, Air Products Equipment Company, Bornquist, Test Gauge Inc., Thermosystems, Windy City Representatives, Powering Chicago, Federated Insurance and The Luse Company.
