Powering Chicago kicked off a month of volunteer plans last Saturday for National Rebuilding Day

Mayor Lori Lightfoot in Attendance to Thank Volunteers for their Efforts

Powering Chicago kicked off the Rebuilding Together 2021 Plans with a care package delivery to residents in the Englewood and Chicago Heights communities.  Close to 50 volunteers gathered in IBEW Local 134's Memorial Hall last Saturday to assemble the care packages that included items such as energy efficient light bulbs, smoke and carbon dioxide detectors, first aid kits, face masks, batteries, flashlights and more.

Special thanks to Graybar Electric, Milwaukee Tool, 3M, and Steiner Electric for their donations to the Powering Chicago care package.
