Electric Association Membership Awards Ceremony

The seminar was held at the Carlisle in Lombard.

The Electric Association Membership Awards Dinner was held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Carlisle Distinct Banquets in Lombard, IL. The Electric Association Awards program recognizes leadership and excellence in the Chicagoland Electrical Industry. Congratulations to two ECA members that were selected:  Richard Jamerson, Jamerson & Bauwens Electrical Contractors, Inc. and Jerry McGlynn, McWilliams Electric Company, Inc.

Rick Jamerson, NECA Governor, Jamerson & Bauwens Electrical Contractors, Inc., who received the Electric Association “Gold Medal" Award has truly met the Gold Medal Award Criteria: Has ably and unselfishly devoted his/her energy, imagination and qualities of leadership in the electrical industry; Has shown keen insight into the opportunities of our great electrical industry, and has demonstrated great devotion to purpose; Has, under his dynamic direction, furthered the industry’s goals of promotion and education, and; Has won the respect and admiration of our entire industry. 

Jerry McGlynn, McWilliams Electric Company,. Inc., who was designated an Electric Association “Hall of Fame” Award inductee has also surpassed the Hall of Fame Criteria: Hall of Fame inductions are designed to honor outstanding individuals who have played a key role in the development and nurturing of the electrical industry and who have played a creative role in Chicagoland. This award recognizes individuals whose innovation, hard work, dedication, and vision have fostered industrial growth and social progress.
