January 22, 2026

The Electrical Contractors' Association of City of Chicago's (ECA's) first Regular Membership Meeting of the year was held on Wednesday, January 22, 2026 at the Drury Lane Conference Center. It was held in conjunction with the Electric Association's Annual Conference. Nearly 70 registered for the Membership luncheon.

A brief recap of the recent ECA Executive Committee meeting was given. It was announced that the following individuals were elected to serve as Officers of the Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago for 2026: Kendra Dinkins, President; Thomas Pedergnana, Vice President and Treasurer and Mark Thomas, Executive Vice President and Secretary. The Committee appointments and educational stipends were also presented.

The meeting featured industry updates and a guest presentation by Brian Witt, Rivet VP of Revenue, Rivet Workforce Management Advisor, called "Work -- Partnerships & Special Projects." The presentation was a Labor Operations Master Class.  We thank Brian Witt, Doug Hearld, Patrick McCarthy, Gary Fuchs, Sr., and Cedric Kennedy, Rivet for their assistance in coordinating the seminar.

We thank all that were in attendance. The next Membership Meeting will feature Jerry Lewis, 1901 Project representative as the guest presenter. Learn about the upcoming projects that are to be part of the overall 1901 Project. Also, this will be the first time the ECA will have a session at the University Club in downtown Chicago. We hope you that you join us February 18, 2026!
