The CISCO Annual Meeting was held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Harry Caray's at the Westin in Lombard, IL. The meeting featured the Project of the Year Awards (2025 Pride in Construction Awards), as well as a number of other special awards, including: Educator of the Year, Public Body of the Year, Construction Advocate of the Year, and the CISCO Hall of Fame Award. The ECA congratulates all of the awardees!
CISCO Hall of Fame Award
Jim McGlynn, Sr. is an active member of the ECA. Over the years, he has spent countless hours acting on behalf of this industry. The ECA congratulates Jim McGlynn as he received the CISCO Hall of Fame Award. Jim McGlynn joined CISCO shortly after its inception in 1992, making him CISCO’s longest serving board member with 34 years of volunteer service. In that period, he has had executive roles, served terms as CISCO’s President. Jim’ McGlynn’s most notable contribution is his fierce legislative advocacy, combined with expertise empowering CISCO’s labor/management model. His passionate advocacy is directly responsible for legislation that has helped strengthen and protect this industry over the past 34 years. Congratulations, Jim!

Project of the Year Awards:
The top project in the New Construction – Chicago (Above $20M) went to Wind Creek Southland Casino and Hotel
The top choice in the category for New Construction – Suburbs (Above $20M) was Replacement Power Plant at Elgin Mental Health Cente
The top choice of New Construction – Chicago Or Suburbs (Below $20M) went to House of Glass
The top choice of Infrastructure projects went to the Red and Purple Modernization Phase One Project
Among Rehab projects, La Grange Park Public Library was the top vote-getter
The top Residential project chosen was Sheffield of Lincoln Park
The 1st of 2 Board Excellence acknowledgments were given to DuPage County Crisis Recovery Center
The 2nd of 2 Board Excellence acknowledgments were given to Humboldt Park Health Wellness Center
Again, the ECA congratulates all of awardees!
