The Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago (ECA) Research and Education Committee kicked off the new year with the “Cracking the "WIP"- Driving Predictable Cost Projections” seminar.  The program was so popular that a second session was added.  Both seminars were held on Wednesday, at the Drake Oak Brook Hotel in Oak Brook, Illinois.  The seminars were facilitated by Ms. Christine Rahlf, Associate Director – Maxim Consulting Group, LLC.

Following this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify how to manage work-in-process for better profitability
  • Explain the relationship between project profitability and processes (budgeting, forecasting, change control, job status reporting and WIP)
  • Describe how to apply earned value reporting to projects
  • Learn key performance indicators that point to critical project performance problems

We thank Ms. Rahlf for extending her time to coordinate the sessions.
