Labor Management Cooperation Committee of Chicago Trustees (LMCC/Chicago)

The Labor Management Cooperation Committee of Chicago (LMCC/Chicago) is a joint labor management Taft Hartly trust fund whose mission is to help improve the working relationship between the Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago (ECA) and Local Union #134, IBEW (Local 134). In order to accomplish this stated goal of improving the working relationship between the ECA and Local 134, the LMCC/Chicago has engaged in various activities including market surveys, joint meetings between labor and management, industry related publications such as labor agreements and a signatory contractors listing, an undergraduate scholarship program for sons and daughters of Local 134 electricians, a scholarship reimbursement program for electricians seeking an undergraduate degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a joint marketing and advertising campaign. The LMCC/Chicago is continually striving to study ways that the Electrical Contractors' Association and Local Union #134, IBEW can work together to make the unionized electrical construction industry in the Chicago Metropolitan Area better for all participants.
