ECA 2008 Holiday Party
The Annual ECA Presidential Ball and Holiday Party was held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at a new location. Over 180 individuals participated with the event held at the Marriott Oak Brook Hills Resort in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The guests were treated to a delightful meal, the wonderful nine-piece "Nightshift Orchestra" and a host of unique activities. The attendees had the opportunity for their futures to be read via a Tarot Card Reader. A Handwriting Analyst, a Caricaturist and a professional photographer were available to round things out. All were busy enjoying the fun, festive atmosphere. We thank all those who were able to participate with this event.

NFPA 70E Guide to Lockout/Tagout
National NECA has created a new guide called, "NFPA 70E Guide to Lockout/Tagout." The guide is built around the procedures set forth in the 2009 NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. The new guide is available in two versions - as a manual and interactive software. The manual is a great reference for anyone at the jobsite. The software serves as an excellent tool for program development, maintenance and training. You can order them at www.necanet.org/necastore or call the NECA Order Desk at: (301) 215-4504 and request the manual (Index #5400), the software (5400 CD) or both (5400 S). NECA members pay only $20.00 for the manual and $150.00 for the software. The fee is $160.00 if purchasing both the manual and the software. |
