The next meeting of the ECA membership is only open to NECA members and is to be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Drake Oak Brook Hotel, 2301 York Road in Oak Brook, Illinois    (630) 571-0000.

The Association is proud to announce that Hal “Bull” Schmitt, a former Naval Aviator, FA-18 Super Hornet pilot, two-time TOPGUN Instructor and is a recognized expert in the process of human performance optimization, error reduction, and leadership development will be the guest presenter. Hal delivers repeatable, measurable improvements to effectiveness and efficiency by applying TOPGUN training and combat aviation tactics, techniques, and procedures to business and personal situations. His charismatic leadership and extensive real-world experience under extremely stressful conditions allow him to design, develop, and implement training, standardization, and checklist operations across multiple disciplines. Essential to mission success and central to Hal’s process are the primary requirements of leadership and discipline to the process and the team. In this session, Hal will discuss the key components of the TOPGUN Process. Using the Fighter Weapons School as a backdrop and example, Hal will share critical lessons learned gathered while serving five years operating at the edge of the envelope as a TOPGUN Instructor. From concepts such as Process not Personality, Training and Standardization, and open, honest Debrief Culture you will leave the discussion with a strong understanding and clear path to optimize your business or personal performance. Hal lives in Templeton, California with his wife and three young daughters.  When not coaching business success, he spends time as a talented winemaker and inspirational photographer and instructor.

The Association is fortunate to have Mark Toland, The Corporate Mind Reader as the special entertainment.  Mark Toland is an award-winning mind reader. In 2017, Mark went on an international tour performing sold out shows around North America. "The Mystery Tour" earned praise and awards from New York City to San Diego, including "Best of Fest" (NYC), "Pick of Fringe" (Orlando), and "Outstanding Mentalism Performance" (San Diego).  Mark has also correctly guessed the outcome of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, predicted the headlines of the Chicago Tribune, and bicycled through Chicago traffic completely blindfolded.  After multiple appearances on WGN TV, Mark was hired to create and star in a 12-part WGN Radio Web Series. Mark has also been featured in Campus Activities Magazine, given a TEDx Talk, and was a featured performer at Disney World.
