Apprentice Graduation 2018

The IBEW - NECA Technical Institute (INTECH) held the Apprentice Graduation Ceremony on September 22, 2018 at the newly renovated school in Alsip, Illinois.  Approximately, 250 apprentices graduated to journeylevel status.  The evening's program was highlighted by a number of guest speakers and awardees.  Father Thomas McCarthy, O.S.A. gave the Invocation.  Don Finn, Business Manager Local 134 IBEW and Robert Fimbianti, EJATT Trustee, Linear Electric, Inc. both addressed the graduating class - each congratulating the new journeymen and outstanding apprentice awardees.  Continued education was the mutual theme.  Here is a listing of the special awards given:  Outstanding Apprentice of the Year - "A" Program - 1st Year:  Connor D. Dechant, 2nd Year: Michael A. Vivanco, 3rd Year:  Mesay M. Tefera, 4th Year:  Brian D. Boniecki, 5th Year:  Thomas P. Laskowske and Graduate:  Anthony W. Guidera.  "C" Program - 1st Year:  James E. O'Neill, 2nd Year:  Paris Y. Hudson, 3rd Year:  Gerardo H. Velasquez and Graduate:  Donald H. Fester.  Andre Hall Apprentice Excellence Award:  Melissa E. Andrekus and the Terry Allen Brotherhood Award:  John P. Felke.  Congratulations, graduates!
